Why I eat low gi foods Apart from the obvious health benefits, I quite enjoy feeling full when I eat. I find that satiety is important in the search for weight management and when you're satisfied, you're less likely to binge on junk food. Win-Win I personally believe diets that require you to live on staples that you don't enjoy are lose/lose as you eat food, get miserable and binge on junk food and gain weight. Not good! Ready Steady Go! Steady blood sugar keeps energy levels at the perfect equilibrium for energetic performance and for comfortable rest. Having such a steady energy stream allows peak performance in athletes and intellectuals alike. Feeling Good Look good feel good right? Not only that but having a healthy outlook and intention can give you a resolute confidence that extends beyond diet and nutrition and leads to pride and confidence. Maybe that's a bit too far, but doing the right thing for your body can have a real synergistic effect. "Let Food Be Thy Medicine" Never a wiser phrase and never have these words been so relevant. In an error of fast food and over processed garbage, low GI foods help bring flavor and satiety to the table and a whole lot of nutrients to boot. Eat a regular diet of Low Glycemic foods and enjoy the powerful benefits of flavor, health and peace of mind |
