Why Article Marketing Still Works

Why It Still Works! We decided to do a little experiment with article marketing to see if it still had the oomph that every used to claim it had, but is spoken of less these days.
In the glory days, if you didn't article market, then you were missing out on just way too many potential backlinks and traffic, but with the advent of linkbuilders, traffic exchanges and the usual myriad of "systems" - It has become a much less proposed choice. What We Did We took the top 10 directories of the day ie. the ten directories that show up in googles results for "article directory" and submitted 2 unique content articles to those article directories. Once our unique content was up with the small amount of keywords we wanted, we waited.
The results - Well they were much what we thought would happen....
And The Results Are Well, we're not going to give away our keywords, but let me tell you that within 3 days, half of our articles were published and we ranked 4-5-9-18 on google respectively for the 4 keywords we targeted, within a week all our articles were published and our red hot content had us....
2-1-3-7 on google search results.
Was I Shocked?
Not at all, I always thought Article Marketing was a good device, but I was a little surprised to sneak 4 keywords into the top ten SERP's . All in all, I recommend article marketing and will continue to use it.
