Red Hot Content To stand out from the crowd you must provide the sort of content that separates you from a very, very (very) large pack. There are probably 1000000 people trying to make money online writing articles and article marketing. Your content is your key, but most people squander the opportunity to really fire up the viewers attention by making red hot content. Unique content Fresh is best when it comes to cooking and the same analogy applies to writing. Unique articles put your blog in good stead with the search engines who are becoming better and better at discounting reproduced content. Readers also enjoy a fresh perspective and an angle that may not be the same regurgitated version of something that they have already read. Controversy Helps You don't have to be controversial to make waves with controversy. Simply writing about a controversial subject can help to put your brand out there and make it stick. It may not be avant garde, but if you bait the viewers with risque material on a taboo subject, you can get much milage from it. Hot Topics It's one thing to miss the boat, but tis' another thing altogether to not know that the boat was even leaving. Don't get out of the loop, conversely don't spend your life on twitter being a follower. Use your head to stay ahead of trends and read the times as if you live in them (which of course you do - don't you?). No one can help you predict the news, but you can certainly keep an intelligent eye on trends and make a little extrapolation of your own. Keep It Real Short of out and out bad language, there is nothing wrong with showing your hand through colloquialism. Your voice - your brand is how you can relate and some times a bit of damn firebrand language can keep your content red hot and raring to go. You don't set out to offend - just be real and be normal. |
