Get Paid To Write
Anyone can write. The good thing is that this means you can get paid to write and make money from the comfort of your sofa. How you go about it is what will determine whether you are the average writer earning peanuts or the wealthy internet marketer who calls their own shots.
There are several ways to get paid to write - Here's the options:
Write For Adsense Use revenue sharing sites like squidoo, hubpages and any others to write your articles and then build links to those pages. You get about half of all adsense impressions. The upside is you don't need a site and the article should have page rank from the beginning as it is linked from the overall directory, but if you don't get traffic you wont earn anything and your time will be wasted.
Get Paid Per Article
Some sites will pay you for writing an article on an article by article basis. This is great for straight up cash but you wont earn residual income. You will also need to compete with people from low income countries who can write articles for less than a dollar each.
Affiliate Marketing Again, you don't need your own website (though it helps), but you need a mighty good niche finder which will cost money and you might not enjoy the results if you are working hard and don't make affiliate sales. If you do well, then there is a lot of money to be made, but the failure rate is high. Websites Writing content for your own website is fun and it's certainly a challenge to build up a website into a big money maker, but it is the hardest task of all. It can take years to build up to even a PR3 website and even then you wont necessarily stay there.
Competition is always around and you must always be on your toes to avoid to dreaded google slap.
Knowledge is essential and the problem with running your own site is that you spend half your time trying to keep up with mother google's latest mood swing instead of spending time building profit.
A good website can be worth a ton, but it takes years to develop a really valuable one. |
