Eating Low GI
By Darius Clements
The Glycemic Index If you want to lose weight, you need to eat right, if you want to eat right then you need to know which foods elevate blood sugar levels and which actually maintain stable blood sugar. Losing Weight The higher your blood sugar spike, the worse your fat burning potential is, in fact when your insulin is getting released, you can forget fat burning almost altogether. But if you maintain a stable blood sugar you can make the most out of fat burning. Eating Low GI Foods You should aim to keep at least 90% of your carbohydrate intake as Low GI foods and that way the little amount of sugars that you may ingest will not have as much an effect on your fat burning. What are some good low gi foods? Here's some of my personal favorites... Apples Oranges Blackbeans Soybeans Rye Cracked Wheat Nuts As you can guess there are many more. You get a lot of nutritional benefit out of these natural foods as well as any weight loss benefits. Eat Low GI |
